This Cookie Policy explains how haramain-properties.com uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the UK GDPR and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the ePrivacy rules and EU GDPR.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can be essential (needed for the site to work) or non-essential (analytics, advertising, personalisation). Non-essential cookies require your consent before being set.

The cookies this site uses

This site is deliberately light on cookies. We currently set only strictly necessary cookies, which do not require consent:

• wordpress_test_cookie: set when you visit the login page, to check your browser accepts cookies. Expires at the end of your session.
• wordpress_logged_in / wordpress_sec: set only for site administrators and editors who log in, to keep them signed in securely. Not set for ordinary visitors.
• wp-settings: stores interface preferences for logged-in users only.

We do not currently use any advertising or social media tracking cookies. This site uses a consent banner (CookieYes) to manage your preferences, and where tools such as Google Site Kit provide measurement, they run only in line with the choices you make in that banner. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link.

Third-party content that is not a cookie

For transparency, some page elements are loaded from third-party servers. These requests disclose your IP address and standard browser information to the provider, in the same way as visiting any website, though they do not set tracking cookies on this site:

• Map tiles on our Developments page are served by CARTO, using OpenStreetMap data, to display the interactive zone maps.
• Fonts are served by Google Fonts to display the site’s typography.

Their respective privacy policies are available at carto.com, openstreetmap.org and policies.google.com.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge explain how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working, but has no effect on ordinary browsing of this site since we set none for visitors.
